About the role
The Maintenance Team oversees the day-to-day upkeep and ongoing site support for metering, PAYG systems, and associated IT equipment. On some sites, we also manage the entire energy network—from heat generation in the plant room (typically boilers) to the Heat Interface Units (HIUs) in individual dwellings.
This position provides vital support to our Maintenance and Client Services teams and plays a key role in upholding Insite Energy's reputation for exceptional customer service and quality, while contributing to our ambitious growth plans.
As a Gas Safe Heat Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and efficient operation of heat network equipment, including boilers, chillers, fan coil units, HIUs, valves, meters, PAYG devices, and metering systems deployed within client developments.

Additionally, you will handle fault detection, repairs, and maintenance of heat metering equipment within the domestic heating sector. This role involves working in the built environment on multi-million-pound construction projects as well as in residential properties.
The Gas Safe Heat Network Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of site-based activities, with a focus on maintaining and optimising domestic and commercial heat networks.
